The Kapuso Network rolls out its 2021 offer for its audience through new programs. The media company announced upcoming series and shows for this year.
Among these new shows is the once-shelved series from 2018–Isang Libo’t Isang Gabi, which based its stories on the classic tales from 1,001 Arabian Nights.
However, what caught our attention is the lineup of all-new original Kapuso Network reality TV shows.
First, the Grad Waiting. The reality show features 16 high school students who dropped out. These students will try to improve on their studies for a chance to win a 4-year-course college scholarship.
It sounds similar to Pinoy Big Brother, but instead of the contest being a road to stardom, their goal will be a road to a better future by promoting education.
Nowadays, PBB has been a gateway for young aspiring artists to move into the entertainment industry. Sadly, not everyone gets the showbiz break they hoped for after joining the reality TV show. The good part about the concept is–it inspires the youth to finish their studies. It creates the motivation to landing a stable and sustainable job.
Lastly, there is Super Mom, a daily show that aims to promote skillful moms.
Suffice to say, shows like these are a step in the right direction. These shows promote content that highlights positive, healthy, and socially beneficial reality TV shows.
