The Prime Minister is in the Philippines for a two-day official visit from January 12-13, 2017.
After the arrival ceremony, the two leaders proceed to Malacañan Palace wherein President Duterte invites Prime Minister Abe to sign the guest book. A meeting between the two countries’ delegations follows.
Both leaders are also scheduled to witness the signing ceremonies of several memoranda of cooperation and will be addressing the nation in their joint press statements.
An expanded bilateral meeting between the business delegates of both countries is set to take place.
