Fully vaxxed, Kim Domingo tests positive for Covid

 

Sexy actress Kim Domingo was emotional on Instagram when she shared she tested positive for Covid-19, despite being fully vaccinated.

Posting a teary-eyed selfie, Domingo said she has no idea how she contracted the virus, especially since she is always careful in following pandemic protocols, especially disinfecting, regular vitamin intake and generally taking care of her health, among others.

While she knows everyone - even the fully vaccinated - can still get the virus, Domingo is all the more upset because she has had to withdraw from the upcoming GMA teleserye "Love. Die Repeat," which stars Jennylyn Mercado and Xian Lim.

"Ito sana ang pagbabalik ko sa TV simula ng nagka-pandemic dahil hindi po ako tumanggap ng trabaho sa labas. Work from home ako palagi. Natatakot ako mag-lock-in taping pero dahil nabakunahan na ako, mas napanatag ako tsaka nami-miss ko na ang pag-arte. Naka-set na sana kami nung August 29 para sa quarantine ng show at biglang sa hindi inaasahan, nangyari ito," she wrote.

"Grabe ang iyak ko nung nalaman ko na hindi na ako makakasama sa show. Napaka wrong timing. Pero inisip ko nalang, may dahilan kung bakit nangyari ito. May ibang plano siguro si Lord para sa akin."

All the same, Domingo made sure her post was clear that she still believes getting vaccinated is important, even if she contracted Covid. Apparently, she once hesitated to get the shot until friends properly explained its benefits, not only for one's self but for everyone around you.

"Inisip ko [magpa-vaccine na], kesa naman ako ang mahirapan, pati mga mahal ko sa buhay pag tinamaan kami ng Covid."

She added that her whole family is vaccinated and that because of the jabs, she is only experiencing mild Covid-19 symptoms.

"Makakatulong ang bakuna para mabawasan ang severity ng Covid. Wala na akong lagnat, pero wala pa din pang amoy at panlasa. Pero still malakas pa din ako kumain. Mas okay na pakiramdam ko. Pahinga lang at iwas ma-stress. Tuloy tuloy pa din ako sa pag-iingat, pag di-disinfect, hindi din po ako lumalabas."

Domingo ended her post by saying she will continue her home quarantine until she tests negative. She also thanked everyone who sent her messages of love and support and reminded her followers to stay safe.
