Almost 4,000 tricycle, pedicab and delivery service riders got vaccinated against COVID-19 through the two-day drive thru vaccination service hatched by the Office of Vice President and the city hall of Manila.
In a Facebook video shortly before 5 pm, Vice President Robredo said that the 4,000 doses of COVID-19 supply provided by the city government are likely to be all used up.
"We have 4,000 doses, at mukhang mauubos (it looks like these will all be used). We would like to apologize to those who walked in but will not be able to get their vaccine supply today because of limited supply," Robredo said.
She said there were 100 vials left when she posted on Facebook.
Robredo said the Vaccine Express project would continue once another batch of doses arrive.
"This is a big help to our drivers, and we would like to thank our volunteers, Manila Mayor Isko [Moreno], and our private partners," Robredo added.
The drivers who got their COVID-19 vaccine shot under Vaccine Express were given a P500 fuel card as an incentive for getting vaccinated. —NB, GMA News
