Inday Sara to ensure fair enforcement of law if elected VP in Eleksyon 2022

 

Vice presidential aspirant and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte on Tuesday said she would push for equal enforcement of law should she win in the May 2022 national elections.

Sara Duterte visited her supporters in Batangas City together with senatorial aspirants Harry Roque, Herbert Bautista, and Salvador Panelo.

In an ambush interview with reporters, Duterte said she would continue the campaign of her father, President Rodrigo Duterte, if she wins the vice presidential race. She said she would also push law enforcers to ensure fair implementation of the law.

"Itutuloy natin 'yung mga nasimulan ni Pangulong Duterte. Nakita natin na sa kanyang administration, bumaba talaga 'yung crime rate sa buong Pilipinas. Ang gagawin natin is kung ano 'yung ginawa natin doon sa Davao City," Sara  said.

(We will continue what President Duterte has started. We saw that in his administration, the crime rate in the whole country went down. What we'll do is what we did in Davao City.) 

"I-e-emphasize natin sa ating law enforcement agencies, particularly sa ating mga kapulisan sa Philippine National Police natin, na ang unang-unang trabaho nila is pantay-pantay na enforcement ng ating batas," she added.

(We will emphasize to our law enforcement agencies, particularly to the Philippine National Police, to prioritize the equal enforcement of our laws.)

Sara said that is the reason why Davao City's police was awarded as one of the best city police offices in the country.

"Dahil naiintindihan nila kung ano 'yung mga dapat nilang gawin particularly against criminality," Duterte said.

(It's because they understand what to do against criminality.)

Earlier, Mayor Sara said the campaign against illegal drugs must be continued as this will destroy the future of our youth.

The Duterte administration has been campaigning for the eradication of illegal drugs as it had launched a bloody war against it in 2016. President Duterte's war on drugs has been criticized because it was linked to the alleged extrajudicial killings in the country.
