One million more doses of Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the country on Thursday.
The additional supply of vaccines arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 2 at 7:02 p.m. via Philippine Airlines Flight A330.
The additional vaccine supply raised the country's vaccine stockpile to more than 38 million.
The government has so far been dealing with a less than adequate supply of COVID-19 jabs to inoculate 70% percent of the country's population.
The Philippines officially rolled out its vaccination program on March 1.
Vaccine brands delivered to the Philippines to date include Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson and Johnson, Sinovac, AstraZeneca, and Sputnik V.
